The Erzstef spelt pillow is filled with spelt husk from certified organic farming.
The buckwheat husk is essentially the hull or outer layer of buckwheat grains that is removed during processing. Buckwheat hulls are popular because they are a natural alternative to synthetic fillings such as polyester or foam. The shells are breathable, i.e. they can wick away moisture and heat, thus ensuring a pleasant sleeping environment. In addition, their flexible nature allows them to adapt to the shape of the head and neck, providing individualised support.
