The spelt pillow from Erzstef is filled with spelt husk from controlled organic cultivation.
The spelt husk is essentially the husk or outer layer of the spelt grain, which is removed during processing. Spelt pillows are popular because they are a natural alternative to synthetic fillings such as polyester or foam. The shells are breathable, i.e. they can wick away moisture and heat, thus ensuring a comfortable sleeping environment.
